Preservation of the environment, the world's seas and oceans is an increasingly pressing issue, with plastic being the leading pollutant. Many European countries have already embarked on the fight against plastics, and some of them are UK, France, Italy, Germany and Scotland.
The European Commission has issued a decision to ban the use of disposable plastics which enters into force on 01/01/2021. Among other things, the ban also applies to plastic cotton buds, which have become a major problem in environmental pollution. An estimated 5 trillion plastic cotton buds float in the oceans, weighing more than 25,000 tons.
Estimations which state that by 2050 there will be more plastic in the seas and oceans than fish are of very high concern, too.
Incite code is the first company in Croatia and Europe to have been prepared for this ban and started producing an environmentally friendly product for two and a half years before this law even comes into force. We have joined our forces against environment pollution with many of our associates, for whom we produce paper cotton buds in a paper box with a paper lid.
On the shelves of drugstores and retail chains in Croatia and beyond, you can also find our Lady's Code cotton buds. By its purchasing you contribute the preservation of our planet so that future generations can live more comfortably.
